Rosemary is still on heavy medicines for her pain and nassea. her body is weak and she is sleeping a lot now.
Overnight, the oxygen level that they were giving her was set at 1. Her bodies oxygen level dropped to 85 so they raised it to a level 5 setting.
She was breathing very hard so even though she was not scheduled to drain the lung, after doctor’s permission, they did. They had to stop the drain at 500 ml. This is the size of the bag they drain into, and draining more fluids at this point would cause severe cramping
There is also still leaking in the wound area, so we await surgery to come back and inspect the area for the 5th time. We are not the doctors’s but our theory is that the lung fills up too fast which lowers her oxygen levels and causes the leaking in the wound area. We will speak to the doctors when next we see them.
