Rose is strong enough to put in a central line. This will help the doctors treat her faster as needed. So I have been kicked out of the room while they do the procedure.
We just spoke with the doctors who will still continue to treat her, but are taking an approach of being more comfortable than running evasive tests. The cancer has spread to both lungs.
Please forgive my rambling now, but hopefully I get some leniency on talking too much. Lol.
Anytime you ask Rose how she is doing. Her go too answer is ” I’m fantastic”. When she said this, sometimes people look at me to get the true facts on her health status which, with 213 times in the hospital in our 21 years of marriage, was not always fantastic.
But there is an amazing powerful strength in being so confident in God that she is “fantastic” even when there seemed no possibly of a positive outcome.
I now look towards what has been and what is now solely in God’s hands. Rose and I have always said, Win or lose, we praise the almighty creator. And as long as Rose is “fantastic” she will always have a special calling in God’s plan. Which yields a fantastic future.
The first sign of cancer was a test in beginning of April. Not even 2 months later, it has spread all over as rapidly as most of us including the doctors have ever seen. Who knows, was the speed of it part of God’s grace? If the inevitable was to happen, was this part of His mercy?.
I don’t know if the holy spirit wants her to keep fighting or not. But this is still our prayer, just as it was sung on our wedding day.
” Let now thy will be the ruler “
We love you both , my Heavenly Father will be w both of you. Don’t misunderstand, He is our Heavenly Father, but we all have a very personal relationship w Him , and as both of you know , your Heavenly Father, and my Heavenly Father , will always surround you both , and me.

Rose is an amazingly strong faithful wife and you are an amazingly strong faithful husband, together a fierce, fighting, faithful couple.The love you both share is beyond the physcial bodies and God knows that and it is included in his plan be assured of that. As I look on my wall in our bedroom I hung a plaque that reads “Live well, Laugh often, Love much…” that is all we can do on life’s journey and you both are an amazing example to admire and look up to. I am humbled, thankful and grateful to call you my friends and brother and sister in faith. God is hearing our prayers for all that is needed and we are here to support you both unconditionally because we love you ❤ Hugs to you both.
