Last night, after speaking with all the specialists, we changed the medical plan to end of life protocol. This means that they took off all the machines and are making her as comfortable as possible.
Prior to this, Rose called us all who were here, she was amazingly aware as it felt like she was talking through her soul and spirit. She said she was ready, cracked a few jokes. And we cried, we laughed, and we loved.
She is now on a morphine drip and it can be a matter of 5 minutes, 5 hours, or 5 days. It is all in God’s hands as we have always asked it to be.
The rapid almost unheard of growth of this cancer may have been itself a miracle if the outcome was inevitable.
