Today, Rose just now completed her first radiation treatment of the brain and the spine. It of course was scary as the mask leaves no room to move, but once they started, rose didn’t feel any pain from the treated areas.
There will be 2 more treatments tomorrow and Friday. If she is stable, she can come home over the weekend. On Monday, we meet with Dr Scheff (the chief) and then Rose will go through her first chemotherapy treatment.
Today, they also had to re-stitch the tube from lung. The fluid coming from the lung is cancerous, and will need to be drained up to twice a day when she comes home.
