Later in the afternoon today we got a chance to speak with Dr Scheff, the chief oncologist, and the surgeon, to come up with a plan.
Dr Scheff wants to do the 1st chemotherapy treatment tomorrow as long as Rose does not deteriorate over night.
The surgeon came in and re stitched the wound area, and cleaned inside the wound where there was a small infection based on the odor, as the surgeon said when removing the gause.
The chemotherapy will now be done beside in her hospital room instead of in the clinic.
There is no exact time of the treatment nor an exact time for Rose to come home. But the general consensus with the doctors may be Wednesday if she has the chemotherapy tomorrow, and there is no more leaking by the tube that drains her lung
